Chances are, if you've ever needed design services, you have run into a "Marketing" company. I put that in quotes because they don't do much else other than just conceptualize. They farm out all of their services to high school students at 8 dollars per hour then charge you 200/hour for consulting. They don't do any of the work. This creates a few problems:
- You are dealing through an intermediary.
- Changing things could take weeks or months depending upon availability of their designers
- Designs are usually what they want you to have, rather than what you TRULY want
- Because of this middle-man action you end up paying way too much for usually poor service.
